INTX Insurance Software introduced Tenet, a native intelligence layer for its reinsurance operating system, designed to bring contextual AI into underwriting, policy administration, claims, accounting and reinsurance workflows.
Tenet sits inside the unified INTX platform. The company said the product moves insurers and reinsurers beyond task automation by giving teams structured intelligence across the full policy and reinsurance lifecycle.
The system delivers four intelligence capabilities across the INTX platform. Treaty Intelligence converts reinsurance treaties into structured operational data, speeding treaty onboarding and improving governance across ceded and assumed reinsurance.
Policy Intelligence reads complex policy documents and identifies coverages, endorsements, exclusions, limits, deductibles and policy changes. That reduces manual review and speeds underwriting and claims work.
Underwriting Intelligence evaluates submissions against underwriting guidelines, authority levels and carrier appetite. It identifies exceptions and compliance issues before decisions move forward, cutting submission-to-quote time.
Knowledge Intelligence connects information across policies, treaties, claims, accounting and underwriting. INTX said the function turns institutional knowledge into operational intelligence available inside daily workflows.
Tenet uses one operational and financial data foundation. That structure lets the system understand relationships between policies, treaties, underwriting rules, claims, accounting records and financial transactions. The goal is faster, better-informed decision-making across the enterprise.
Tenet operates across the full INTX reinsurance operating system, including ReinsureConnect, INTX Re and INTX Core.
- ReinsureConnect supports ceded reinsurance operations, including treaty and facultative accounting, recoverables, bordereaux, Schedule F reporting and financial workflows.
- INTX Re supports assumed reinsurance, including treaty and facultative administration, premium and loss accounting, bordereaux management and capacity management.
- INTX Core supports commercial property and casualty operations for carriers, MGAs and fronting companies. Its functions include underwriting, quoting, policy administration, billing, claims and policy servicing.
Together, those products form a single operating system for insurance and reinsurance. Tenet acts as the intelligence layer across them, connecting operational, contractual and financial context throughout the business.
INTX said many insurance technology providers are adding generative AI to disconnected systems or acquired products as carriers accelerate AI adoption. Those tools often summarize information or automate tasks, but they lack the enterprise context needed for complex insurance decisions.
INTX said it built its platform before the current generative AI cycle as a unified system spanning underwriting, policy administration, reinsurance, claims, accounting and financial operations. That architecture gives Tenet native access to the operational, contractual and financial information behind the business.

Devon Ellett, chief operating officer and co-founder of INTX Insurance Software, said insurance has always been a knowledge business. Every underwriting decision, treaty interpretation, claims determination and financial outcome depends on understanding complex information, he said.
INTX plans to expand Tenet into claims operations, financial analytics, portfolio intelligence, capital management, regulatory reporting and enterprise decision support.
The roadmap points toward contextual intelligence across the full insurance and reinsurance enterprise, rather than isolated AI tools bolted onto old workflows.
