Ondo InsurTech, a startup in insurance claims prevention technology for home insurers, has kicked off a WRAP Retail Offer aimed at raising up to £0.20 mn, giving existing UK retail holders a discounted route into new ordinary shares.
The move plugs into a broader fundraising package that includes a placing and subscription worth about £2.28 mn.
Put together, the raise shores up liquidity for ongoing operations and backs strategic pushes the company says will strengthen its market position.
The offer follows a string of updates from Ondo as it races to scale its claims-prevention tech for home insurers.
According to Beinsure analysts, the firm’s pitch remains simple: cut water-damage claims for carriers by installing predictive tech in homes, then use the loss-ratio gains to drive adoption.
Capital helps keep that flywheel spinning, especially as Ondo pushes into more partnerships with UK insurers.
Analysts covering the stock sit in the middle. The latest rating lands at Hold with a £31 target price. Spark, TipRanks’ AI analyst, also calls the shares Neutral. The reasons aren’t subtle.
Financial performance weighs heavily due to negative profitability and chunky leverage, even though technical indicators lean Buy and the market cap sits around £41.71 mn on roughly 698,000 shares traded daily.
Ondo says the proceeds from the WRAP Retail Offer and the wider raise will support near-term operations and longer-term product strategy, which circles back to its core pitch: preventing claims rather than reacting to them.
The company remains a recognised player in home-insurance risk-mitigation tech, but it still faces the usual growth-company puzzle – plenty of demand, tight capital, and a market keen to see durability rather than just momentum.
Ondo InsurTech announced that Nationwide has placed a further order for LeakBot devices and services to expand the program into ten additional states.
We are delighted that Nationwide has chosen to expand the LeakBot programme further following the success of Orders One and Two. Maintaining outstanding customer satisfaction while fixing hundreds of leaks at scale shows the effectiveness and scalability of our solution.
Craig Foster, CEO of Ondo InsurTech
“This next step in the partnership brings us closer to our goal of making LeakBot available to homeowners right across the United States,” Craig Foster said.
This follows the successful completion of Nationwide’s first two orders, which together deployed LeakBot across 16 states. The partnership has already delivered significant results, with LeakBot plumbers having fixed over 1,100 issues in Nationwide customers’ homes.
