Mike Van Slooten – Head of Business Intelligence for Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions division
Mike Van Slooten is the Head of Business Intelligence for Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions division. In his role, he oversees the analysis and dissemination of critical information regarding the global reinsurance market, helping clients navigate complex market dynamics. Van Slooten is known for his insights into market trends, particularly the impacts of macroeconomic factors like interest rates and inflation on the reinsurance sector.
Prior Mike Van Slooten has been appointed head of Aon Benfield Analytics international research team. Mr. Van Slooten joins the Aon Corp. unit from Guy Carpenter & Co. L.L.C., where he was head of its London-based market information team.
He will be responsible for organizing market security and research activities in the international reinsurance markets and managing a team of financial analysts in London, Aon Benfield said in a statement.
He has highlighted the professionalization and business-like operations of cybercrime groups, emphasizing the increased specialization within these groups, which contributes to a heightened threat environment.
