AdvantageGo debuts Underwriting Workbench v3.0 to modernise P&C insurance workflows

AdvantageGo has rolled out version 3.0 of its Underwriting Workbench, a move aimed at expanding its position in the property and casualty insurance markets across EMEA and North America.

The update reflects the company’s broader push to simplify underwriting for insurers wrestling with complex risks while making operations more agile and collaborative.

The new release shifts the platform from a traditional pre-bind tool into a full-scale business management system. At the center is a non-linear workflow architecture, allowing underwriters to move through cases dynamically rather than following rigid steps.

That change reduces operational bottlenecks, speeds decision-making, and aligns more closely with how underwriters actually work day to day.

AI and advanced analytics underpin the system, generating insights that strengthen risk selection and improve portfolio outcomes.

Real-time collaboration is built in through integrations with Microsoft Outlook and Teams. Underwriters can share documents instantly, receive automated notifications, and manage embedded discussions inside the workflow, keeping stakeholders aligned without adding extra tools.

Version 3.0 introduces four role-based user modes — Action, Performance, Manager, and Admin.

Each is designed for specific functions, whether it’s day-to-day underwriting tasks, performance monitoring, IT management, or executive oversight.

That modular approach provides a focused, intuitive experience for different users across the insurance hierarchy.

AdvantageGo is also tailoring the platform for the US and Canadian markets, part of a strategy to extend its underwriting solutions to major global hubs.

By delivering flexible and connected tools, the company aims to accelerate digitisation across the P&C space.

Vice president Lee Williams described the update as a complete rethinking of underwriting workflows. He argued that legacy systems lock underwriters into rigid, administrative processes, while Workbench v3.0 adapts to the way professionals think and operate.

We’ve reimagined the entire underwriting process with Underwriting Workbench v3.0, moving beyond linear workflows and basic administration, to create a truly intelligent system that adapts to how underwriters actually work.

Lee Williams, AdvantageGo vice president

The goal, he said, is an intelligent, collaborative platform that combines flexibility with the data-driven intelligence modern insurers demand.

He added, “The insurance industry has long been constrained by legacy systems that force underwriters into rigid processes. Underwriting Workbench v3.0 recognises that modern underwriting requires flexibility, data intelligence, and collaboration. We’ve built a platform that works the way underwriters think.”

Sapiens International Corporation, a global software provider for the insurance industry, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire AdvantageGo, a commercial insurance software company focused on underwriting workbench solutions for the London and international markets.

The acquisition expands Sapiens’ property and casualty (P&C) offerings by adding underwriting tools that address risk assessment, management, and decision-making.

AdvantageGo will be integrated into the Sapiens Insurance Platform for P&C and also offered independently. These capabilities will serve existing P&C clients in EMEA and APAC, while also improving Sapiens’ support for insurers in North America dealing with specialty and commercial lines.

The acquisition supports Sapiens’ strategy to increase its presence in the London Specialty Market and the reinsurance sector.
