Neil Harrison – Global Chief Claims Officer Commercial Risk Solutions Aon

Neil Harrison is Global Chief Claims Officer for Aon’s commercial risks solution line, managing a group of 1800 claims professionals across the world with a focus on ensuring clients receive appropriate claims outcomes when losses arise. Neil is a member of Aon plc’s Executive Leadership Team, and a member of the firm’s Commercial Risk Executive Team.

In his role he oversees the development and implementation of the global claims strategies of the firm, including; the delivery of best in class services for clients, partnerships and alliances with carriers and other claims related business partners, and talent management initiatives to allow Aon to continue to attract, retain and develop claims professionals.

Neil participates directly in our firm’s key carrier management and broking activities and represents Aon on the Claims Advisory Boards of several carriers. Neil is based in New York.

In prior roles within Aon, Neil has led business units in our retail broking, risk consulting, risk management information systems and reinsurance areas and has been located in London, Rotterdam and Chicago.

Neil is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (ACII), an Affiliate of the Institute of Risk Management (AIRM). He has spoken at numerous industry events and conferences in US, UK, Canada, Panama, Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Singapore, Sweden, Hong Kong, Philippines, Turkey and South Africa. Neil has also published articles on many risk management subjects, including property risk mitigation, workers’ compensation loss cost reduction, and the use of risk information solutions. He has been retained as a visiting lecturer by two UK universities providing risk management and crisis management education.
