Israeli startup Sweet Security, specialising in addressing cloud risks for companies, has successfully raised $33 mn in a Series A funding round led by Evolution Equity Partners, with participation from Munich Re Ventures and Glilot Capital Partners.

The company utilizes its eBPF-based technology to uncover critical irregularities in applications, networks, and automated systems, offering valuable insights into current operations.

Yuval Ben-Itzhak, General Partner at Evolution Equity Partners, remarked on the funding, highlighting that Sweet Security’s approach advances cloud security through its novel behavior-based security technology, which considers applications, networks, and identities. This approach enables a reduction of risks across cloud scenarios.

Following its funding round, Sweet Security is set to expedite its growth in the United States and enhance the capabilities of its platform.
